Waddup, men!! This is my first and latest blog I hope. My name is Jesus and I'm from Spain. I'm 20 years old. My hometown is La Roda, in the middle of Spain, but now I'm studying Aeronautical engineering in the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia. In September I will start my 4th at the university, so I only have to study for 2 years more and I'll be an engineer!
However, right now I'm studying English in Canada, in a nice city called Welland, near the Niagara Falls. I really love this country! I'm going to stay here for 4 weeks to improve my skills. Really short time.
As you can see in the picture above, I've met new friends here. They're quite cool! This picture is taken in their house.
My homestay family is perfect. They take care of me and I have a pool in the garden!
I'm having a good time in Canada because we do a lot of trip and excursions.
Last wednesday we went to see the Niagara Falls and it was amazing! You've must to be there to appreciate all the its greatness. Next friday we are coming back to see the Niagara Falls again, but this time during the night. We are going to see the fireworks ant attend to a music concert. Maybe, after these we went out to the bars near the Niagara Falls.
Another interesting trip we did was a travel to Toronto. We went this weekend and we stayed for one nigth. Toronto is a very big city but, in my opinion, it has few interesting things to see. However we tried to see as things as we could. In my own, the highlights of the trip were the baseball game we saw on saturday. They played the Toronto Blue Jays against the Cleveland Indians. I have never seen before a baseball game, it's pretty different from the sport I used to see on TV.
The other aspect which shocked me was Chinatown, it's very different from the rest of the city, in fact, you can believe that you are in a different town. We stayed there in an hotel dirt cheap, but in my opinion, it was the worst hotel of Toronto... Maybe of Canada. Nevertheless it was OK for spending only one night.
I still have two weeks for enjoying in Canada but I think I need more time... I don't want to come back to Spain!!
If you want to know more about me, I love sports, I'm crazy about them. I like playing soccer, basketball, squash, cycling, running, tennis, etc. and to see them on TV too. When I am not doing sport of seeing some sport event on TV, I read. I always need to have a book in my nightstand. In my remaining free time, I enjoy going out with my friends to drink some beers o for having a party.
I don't know what more things I can write in my first blog so... Hello again and nice to meet you!
Hey Jesus, how are you? We are in our last days here, do you want to come back or do you want to stay more? Have you enjoyed of your month in Canada? What is the best thing that you have seen here? I’m really sad to come back, I want to come back soon and I want our friends like Namhee, Carlos, Charles, Nathan or Steven come to Spain to visit us, but I know that it is very difficult. What are you going to do when you come back? I think that you have the festivity of your town right? Enjoy your last days and I will write you soon, or maybe not, I don’t know. See you
